Healthcare
Communities in West Africa that lack basic infrastructure, including clean water, food, clothes, appropriate shelter, reliable transportation, education, and electricity, also lack good health care. In these communities, healthcare priorities are mostly nonexistent or in limited supply as the few scarce resources are dedicated to meeting critical needs, like food, clothing, and shelter.
In such areas, clinical facilities are in poor conditions and lack the human capital to care for the sick population. Some places we visited do not have reliable water sources or quality water for their patients and the healthcare workers. Shared facilities, like bathrooms, are in poor condition and inappropriate for children and the sick population.
Additionally, vital medical supplies necessary to heal the sick are also in short supply. We believe that provisioning for healthcare needs will solve some of the health issues faced by our brothers and sisters in these communities thereby promoting a healthier community. A healthy community will promote increased productivity, economic development, and prosperity.
Construction
Compelled by the challenges faced by school children, farmers, and participants of various religious and social activities, we find it morally imperative to construct safe, motorable roads to connect remote communities to the towns and cities where schools, clinics, places of worship, markets, and other necessary services are rendered.
Our road construction projects are profound paths to a better quality of life. Motorable roads allow farmers in the countryside to bring their crops to the market and generate funds for their families. The roads also create a safe path for students to travel to school. Roads are the foundations of economic development and fundamental for other significant human and community health care and educational advancements.
Education
Education is a sustainable means to alleviate poverty and bring lasting change. Together we can make a difference for future leaders. Join our community of monthly donors to provide future leaders of West Africa with access to education and life-changing opportunities.
Education is not only a fundamental human right but also pivotal to increasing employment and income opportunities to help break the cycle of poverty. Education is the key to unlocking the golden door of freedom for all people no matter their location in the world. We believe that education is the foundation for a happy, healthy life. The majority of our work is focused on facilitating greater access to educational opportunities for the underserved communities in West Africa.
You can help us make a difference in the lives of children and families who are living in poverty by donating, participating in an event, or hosting a fundraiser for us.
